This perfectly formed Chest with it’s 7 drawers shows how important and valued a craftman’s tools were to have had this piece of furniture made to protect and store them in.
Each drawer opens using the tiny brass knob. The lid also opens to reveal more storage space.
Most probably for a cabinet maker but also ideally suited for a surgeon or dentist perhaps!
